ISR Posture and Early Campaign Dynamics: Phase Attainment, Tempo, and Escalation Pathways; Project PACES -- Posture Analysis for Campaign Escalation and Success

PACES (Posture Analysis for Campaign Escalation & Success) is a BEAM-based study that examines how different ISR postures (space-dominant, mixed, theater-dominant) affect early campaign success, tempo, and escalation risk in realistic DATE/ODIN scenarios. It uses two theater cases (Panay and Donovia-Pirtuni), aggregated force structures, and a structured design of experiments with a custom escalation-coding framework to link posture choices to campaign outcomes and escalation trajectories.
