Improved Physics-Based Rail Modeling: Approaching Tip-Off Forces in Rail Launched Missiles

As low-cost munitions become more relevant and accessible, the use of rail-launched surface-to-air missiles is becoming more popular. To address a critical modeling gap in most rail-launched systems, we are developing a model that captures the dynamics of missile-rail interactions.
