Intelligence with Integrity: Policy Guidelines for Responsible AI Systems
As artificial intelligence (AI) systems become increasingly integrated into our lives, the importance of ensuring these systems are implemented responsibly is now a social and legal necessity. In light of this, our work illustrates how AI can cause harm through its echo chambers, non-representative datasets, and use of private, protected attributes. We analyze case studies and current policies in order to present applicable guidelines for the responsible development and deployment of AI systems.
