As artificial intelligence increasingly shapes the future of work and society, AI literacy has emerged as a critical competency for the next generation. However, integrating AI literacy into K–12 education remains limited by systemic challenges, including inequitable access to resources, inconsistent curricula, and a lack of institutional support. This research explores strategies for integrating AI literacy into STEM education across primary and secondary schooling. It focuses on three key dimensions: (1) teaching AI concepts directly to students, (2) embedding AI learning within existing STEM frameworks, and (3) equipping educators with AI tools and educational resources to enhance instruction. This project aims to identify scalable, equitable, and sustainable models for AI literacy integration. The goal is to inform policy and practice that empower both students and teachers to meaningfully engage with AI technologies and prepare for an AI-driven future.
