Many programs that broadly provide STEM-based learning opportunities and experiences to a diverse group of applicants, such as the ASPIRE program, have challenges related to collecting, tracking, and using the right data to best inform programmatic decisions and improvements. This project will use the ASPIRE program as a use case, to identify how data does or does not support the program objectives and how modeling methodologies could be applied to predict success factors in applicants. Comparisons to analogous problems in the Department of Defense will be made.
This project will also appear in our in-person showcase.
